What’s good about OneNote for Windows that OneNote 2016 doesn’t have: Over my numerous attempts at using OneNote for Windows, here’s what I’ve gathered are the good and bad differences (again, my perspective – but also including those of others I speak to). Even if you become disconnected from your Microsoft account you can still work on a document and save it for later. The program generally functions quickly, even when embedding or attaching large video files. The layout is very clean without any clutter. Microsoft OneNote 2013’s appearance is in line with other Microsoft Modern programs. You can also right click to bring up a convenient editing menu. As with other Office products, Microsoft OneNote 2013 relies on use of the tool bar or corresponding hotkeys.

You can further improve your notebook by adding in time stamps, spreadsheets, web links, attaching files, or even recording audio.
